en0haa37gnk | 2011-01-01T21:09:01Z | UCdgfHazNAkwfxY07xkHWNzQ | Soul Sounds tibetan singing bowls | This is a sound clip from my Soul Sounds CD, a 50 minute shamanic healing with the Tibetan singing bowls and cymbals. The singing bowls are known for their meditative sound qualities. In my experience I have found the sound of the singing bowls very effective for deep relaxation of the body and mind. I have seen people's physical problems disappear during a session. Energy sensitive people have reported that when I played the singing bowls, the energy of the room not only got cleared from negative energies but also got imbued with higher positive energies. More info at www.soul-guidance.com/soulsounds.htm . As you all might know, the theme song is in French because it's not in France, it's in Quebec, Canada because this show was taking place in Canada. Why? Because, half of the people in Quebec can speak English and the people on the other half can speak French. The French title of the show was "Le Monde de Loonette". In English, the title was "The World of Loonette". This opening was used in the Season 1 episodes and the Season 2 episodes. This opening doesn't include Auntie Macasser and Snicklefritz, just Loonette, Molly, Granny Garbanzo, Major Bedhead, the Dustbunnies and the Foley Family. During the opening, Molly is wearing her yellow dress, the one she wore from the episodes "Upsey Downsey Day", "Something's Fishy Around Here", "Ping Pong Polka" and "Snug as a Bug". Also, as Loonette was holding the storybook with Molly, she didn't wear her glasses. After graduating from New York's School of Industrial Art in 1952, Hesse studied at New York's Pratt Institute (1952--1953) and Cooper Union (1954--1957), then at the Yale School of Art and Architecture (1957--1959), where she studied under Josef Albers and received a B.F.A. Upon returning to New York she made friends with many young artists. In 1961, she met and married sculptor Tom Doyle. In August 1962 Eva Hesse and Tom Doyle participated in an Allan Kaprow Happening at the Art Students League of New York in Woodstock, New York. There Hesse made her first three dimensional piece: a costume for the Happening. In 1963 Eva Hesse had a one-person show of works on paper at the Allan Stone Gallery on New York's Upper East Side. The couple lived and worked in an abandoned textile mill in the Ruhr region of Germany for about a year during 1964-1965. Hesse was not happy to be back in Germany, but began sculpting with materials that had been left behind in the abandoned factory: first relief sculptures made of cloth-covered cord, electrical wire, and masonite, with playful titles like Eighter from Decatur and Oomamaboomba. Returning to New York City in 1965 she began working in the materials that would become characteristic of her work: latex, fiberglass, and plastics. Eva Hesse had also an interest in drawing as evinced by her numerous workbooks. She was associated with the mid-1960s postminimal anti-form trend in sculpture, participating in New York exhibits such as "Eccentric Abstraction" and "Abstract Inflationism and Stuffed Expressionism" (both 1966). In September 1968 Eva Hesse began teaching at the School of Visual Arts. Her only one-person show of sculpture in her lifetime was "Chain Polymers" at the Fischbach Gallery on W. 57th Street in New York in November 1968; her large piece Expanded Expansion showed at the Whitney Museum in the 1969 exhibit "Anti-Illusion: Pro… | {"default": {"url": "https://i.ytimg.com/vi/oEJ5bh-OIuU/default.jpg", "width": 120, "height": 90}, "medium": {"url": "https://i.ytimg.com/vi/oEJ5bh-OIuU/mqdefault.jpg", "width": 320, "height": 180}, "high": {"url": "https://i.ytimg.com/vi/oEJ5bh-OIuU/hqdefault.jpg", "width": 480, "height": 360}} | Elisa Cardellini | ["Eva", "Hesse", "Sculpture", "Drawings", "Charalambides", "Joy", "Shapes", "Art"] | 27 | none | {"title": "Eva Hesse", "description": "Eva Hesse (1936-1970), was a German-born American sculptor, known for her pioneering work in materials such as latex, fiberglass, and plastics.\r\nAfter graduating from New York's School of Industrial Art in 1952, Hesse studied at New York's Pratt Institute (1952--1953) and Cooper Union (1954--1957), then at the Yale School of Art and Architecture (1957--1959), where she studied under Josef Albers and received a B.F.A. He brought the woodblocks to create a print of 'Takashima Ohisa, the teahouse waitress', designed by Kitagawa Utamaro (1754-1806) in the 1790s. Matsuzaki hails from Arakawa-ku in Tokyo and has been a printer since he was fifteen years old. It will be placed in my classroom and a million monkeys will bang at the keys and will randomly produce works of Shakespeare. This was a serious time-suck, well over 100 hours total. It is far from perfect, a key sticks now and then. Also, the features that make it noiseless can really make it hard to type. I lowered the rubber bar and the keys fly a bit faster, but I think I am going to avoid 'noiseless', because I noticed it on my other typewriter also. The bell, is beyond me. They were crafty in design, perhaps a bit too crafty. If I change the feet, I'll do a video on it. As of now, they stay. Also, I left the original paint. This typewriter has lived a long life with it, and I hate adding anything that is not needed. The rubber had to go, but the paint stayed. I had to paint a few pieces, as rust had come through. xk4U8BembHM | 2013-11-19T02:05:24Z | UCa0wYCa7EOyrE511N0z_Qbw | Starship Trooper in 1080p HD by Yes | From Wikipedia: According to Alice Cooper on his radio show Nights with Alice Cooper, Anderson claimed to have written the first two movements of "Starship Trooper" alone, though the "Disillusion" movement (which evolved from an earlier song "For Everyone", heard on Something's Coming: The BBC Recordings 1969--1970 and The Word Is Live) is credited to Chris Squire. The Würm part of "Starship Trooper" is a continuous cadenza of chords (G-Eb-C) played by ensemble and repeated adlib: first accompaniment: electric guitar on the right stereo channel, then acoustic guitar, bass pedals, and drums from middle channel, then organ and bass guitar with tremolo and distortion from left channel, then starts the guitar solo, that swaps from side to side. The whole piece lasts about three and a half minutes. "Würm" originally evolved from a song called "Nether Street" by Howe's earlier group, Bodast.[13] While "Wurm" (without the umlaut over the "u") is an Old English word for "dragon" (worm, wurm, wyrm), the Würm is a river in Germany which gave its name to an ice age in geology.
