Barattelli" Luigi Chiarizia (L'Aquila 1/8/1978) violoncellista, compositore, clavicembalista e organista, nato da una famiglia di artisti e musicisti, ha iniziato lo studio del violoncello all’età di sei anni, studiando con Annamaria Mastromatteo e Marek Kruszczynski. Successivamente si è diplomato in organo e composizione organistica a Pescara sotto la guida di Mauro Pappagallo. Diciannovenne ha debuttato per I Solisti Aquilani e, a venticinque anni, si era già esibito in oltre ottanta concerti. Ha studiato presso l’Università di Paleografia e Filologia Musicale a Cremona. Ha vinto una borsa di studio presso l’Accademia Musicale Chigiana di Siena per perfezionarsi con Christophe Rousset. In seguito si è perfezionato con Gustav Leonhardt e Luigi Ferdinando Tagliavini. Già organista titolare in S. Agata in Cremona e poi in S. Stefano in Tesserete (Svizzera), è autore di trascrizioni (Turris Cremona) e di composizioni (Armelin Musica Padova). Ha suonato per: l’Accademia Musicale Chigiana di Siena, la Società Aquilana dei Concerti “B. Barattelli”, l’Istituzione Sinfonica Abruzzese, i Seminari Musicali Internazionali di Cupello, l’Associazione Organistica Aquilana, Castelbasso Arte 2006 etc. Ha suonato a: Siena (Palazzo Chigi Saracini), Giulianova (Teatro Ariston), L’Aquila (Teatro San Filippo), Chieti (Teatro Marrucino), Roma (Chiesa del Gesù), Loreto Aprutino (Teatro “Luigi De Deo”), Castel di Sangro (Teatro Tosti), Piacenza, Vasto, Lodi, Teramo, Cremona, Como, Rieti e Camerino, ove ha inaugurato un organo Michel Formentelli.
