Boss DD-3 Digital Delay | This music is instrumental. The tempo is fast with a rhythmic guitar lead. There is minimal instrumentation and the music is an upbeat, energetic and catchy riff. | 2009-06-12T13:28:12Z | Pedal Tone | A powerful delay pedal with three distinct modes. A variable Delay Time control creates delays from 12.5ms to 800ms, while a Hold function is capable of producing repeats from here to infinity | ["Tapping (guitar technique)", "Effects unit", "Guitar", "Music", "Musical instrument", "Plucked string instrument"] | ["instrumental", "fast tempo", "rhythmic guitar", "resounding", "guitar solo", "guitar lead", "acoustic guitar", "melodic", "energetic", "spirited"] | 7 | 1jATjKL2vAE | 304
Boss TE-2 Tera Echo | This is a gear showcase jam. There is a clean sounding electric guitar with an echo effect being played in a gentle manner. The recording has a dreamy, trippy atmosphere. Parts of this recording can be lifted as samples to be used in beat-making. An advertisement jingle could also be derived from this piece. | 2013-07-11T00:27:20Z | ProGuitarShopDemos | Buy Now: https://goo.gl/nVm6om This is the Tera Echo from Boss. This highly dynamic, and spatial effect uses Boss' new Multi-Dimensional Processing to create a whole new category of delay and reverb. Complex, layered sounds are easily dialed in with the Spread Time, which goes from a warm slapback to a stuttering, filtered delay sound. The Boss Tera Echo also includes a tone control to create warm synth pads or glassy repeats with a rich ambient sound. The TE-2 is also very dynamic and responds with an envelope like effect when played harder or with subtle echoes and reverb tails when fed with a soft signal. You can even hold down the footswitch and freeze notes or chords to play over and take advantage of the trails feature to quickly punch into accent specific parts or your music. The Boss TE-2 is also equipped with stereo inputs and outputs for a wider, psychedelic effect! | ["Echo", "Effects unit", "Electric guitar", "Guitar", "Music", "Musical instrument", "Plucked string instrument"] | ["jam", "no singer", "instrumental", "single instrument", "electric guitar", "guitar solo", "effect pedal", "echo", "easygoing", "mellow", "simple tune", "dreamy", "trippy"] | 9 | 3ClbaJYWVO4 | 448
Mr. Black Eterna Gold Modified Reverb | This audio clip features the end of an instrument with a lot of reverb. This additional reverb gives the ending an epic feel. At the end of the clip, a guitar chord is struck. There are no other instruments in this song. There are no voices in this song. This song can be used to promote a reverb pedal. | 2014-05-29T21:49:53Z | ProGuitarShopDemos | Buy Now: https://goo.gl/iaBJkm Mr. Black Eterna Gold Modified Reverb Presented by Mike Hermans Mr. Black has changed the game. Again. Using the foundation of the widely-regarded Eterna reverb, the latest and final word on shimmer reverb is here. The algorithm of the original has been overhauled to deliver a feature set worthy of the color gold—from impossibly long decays to astonishing shimmer swells. If you've been on the market for a shimmering reverb but haven't been able to make a decision, congratulations. This is the end of your journey. The decay time of the original has been vastly expanded upon. The original Eterna's decay stands at 40+ seconds. For those players that require a little more, the Eterna Gold Modified has widened that decay time to over a full minute of opulent reverb. The reverb engine itself has also been thoroughly tweaked to change the amount of reflections created after picking, creating a fuller, richer base sound for the decay to feast upon. As the decay knob is turned counter-clockwise, the Eterna Gold Modified starts to shimmer-swell, and when the decay knob is dimed, swelling is also at maximum. Much like the original, a precise amount of shimmer can be mixed in with the shimmer knob, from lush bottomless verb to a massive sacred chorale. The pedal is wired for true-bypass switching and is set up for standard 9vDC operation. | ["Reverberation", "Effects unit", "Guitar", "Music", "Musical instrument", "Plucked string instrument", "Distortion"] | ["epic song", "instrumental", "no voices", "instrument reverb", "guitar strum", "minimal instruments", "no percussion"] | 0 | 3zntWbS9XeI | 527
EFFECTS 101: Overdrive | This is a recording of an instrumental jam. There is a blues type solo being performed on an overdriven electric guitar. The guitar has an 80s sound. This recording could be sampled for use in beat-making or as an advertisement jingle. | 2010-02-19T08:05:06Z | rolandmedia | Overdrive is one of the most used guitar effects. As Johnny DeMarco shows, overdrive is used in virtually every kind of guitar music and youll see this kind of pedal in nearly every stage or studio. | ["Reverberation", "Effects unit", "Guitar", "Music", "Musical instrument", "Plucked string instrument", "Distortion", "Bowed string instrument"] | ["jam", "instrumental", "single instrument", "overdriven electric guitar", "guitar solo", "80s sound", "blues"] | 9 | 40i3_JH6FYw | 530
Fender Starcaster Distortion Pedal Demo | This clip features an electric guitar played through a distortion effects pedal. At the beginning, the sound is open. The guitar plays a power chord using down strokes. After changing settings on the pedal, a chord is strummed and then arpeggiated notes are played. This produces a 'closed' sound. There are no voices in this song. There are no other instruments in this clip. This clip can be played in a demo video of the distortion effect pedal. | 2008-03-28T02:14:12Z | creepingnet | After three takes, I finally manage to keep this thing under 10 minutes...to 9:53 seconds. This is the other pedal I decided to put up here to show what it can do. Once again I use the Jaguar and the V-Amp with no effects and a flat EQ to show the pedal's tone changes and capabilities as much as possible, however, as with all distortion, an amplifier difference can drastically change the sound output. No other pedals were used in the signal chain. | ["Echo", "Effects unit", "Electric guitar", "Guitar", "Music", "Musical instrument", "Rock music", "Plucked string instrument"] | ["distortion guitar", "power chords", "down strokes", "two different effects", "effects pedal", "no other instrument", "no voices", "instrumental"] | 0 | 6OVb3rjcB3Q | 749
Markbass Super Synth | This is a gear showcase jam. The bass guitar is playing a random tune while it is connected to a synth pedal that constantly changes the characteristics of its sound. The piece starts out with a fat and wobbly sound and then later turns into a crisp synth sound. These sounds could be sampled for use in beat-making. It could also work well in the soundtrack of an outer space video game. | 2010-02-13T20:00:15Z | MarkbassAmps | Peter Murray explains the Markbass Super Synth pedal, including how to use the pedal's controls and the included software. | ["Clarinet", "Effects unit", "Guitar", "Music", "Musical instrument", "Plucked string instrument", "Synthesizer"] | ["jam", "no singer", "instrumental", "single instrument", "bass guitar", "synth pedal", "shifting sound", "eccentric"] | 9 | B4KIQtk7fT4 | 1204
Mooer Audio Ana Echo Delay | This is an instrumental electric guitar jam meant to showcase an echo delay pedal. The guitar using the pedal is merely strumming the chords while there is another electric guitar in the background playing the melody. There is also a bass guitar playing a simple bass line. In the rhythmic background there is a chill rock beat played by the acoustic drums. There is a calm and chill atmosphere in this piece. It could be used as the loading screen music in a video game. | 2012-08-29T19:00:32Z | Prymaxe | $98.00 https://www.prymaxe.com/products/mooer-audio-ana-echo-delay The Mooer Audio Ana Echo is a very small Analog echo pedal that sounds great! Don't let the small size fool you, the tones in this box are big! The Ana Echo has 3 knobs... Rate, intense and echo. Use the Mooer for rhythmic delays or set the echo back a little for some added depth to your lead tone. Behringer VM1 Vintage Time Machine Part 1 analog delay/echo/chorus review | This music is instrumental. The tempo is slow with a resonating electric guitar riff. The music is spooky, eerie, sinister, mysterious and suspenseful with a little white noise/static. | 2009-01-27T21:05:21Z | torturesofthedamned | Find me on FB: https://www.facebook.com/SleazyDJameson 1/27/09 - just a quick simple review of the Behringer VM1, a.k.a "Deluxe Memory Man clone". (i usually dont do reviews, but there wasnt many demos of this pedal on the tube at the time, so i figured id give it the ol' college try). I wasn't really in the market for a Deluxe Memory Man (never have been), but when i saw this for a quarter of the price (70 u.s dollars) i figured why not? an analog delay pedal for 70? plus it has all the other bells and whistles. all clean tones in this video coming from a Line 6 Micro Spider with no effects, i'm using an ESP Eclipse II, also i play alot of "stop on the dime" chords of randomness (nothin fancy ladies and gents) in this video so you can hear the decay and how the delay/echo breaks up. the max delay is quite long if i may say so, i believe it's 550ms? Overall i'm very pleased with this pedal, I used a still photo camera that takes vids so, sorry for the lo-fi quality. cheers!!! | ["Echo", "Effects unit", "Music", "Chorus effect", "Plucked string instrument"] | ["instrumental", "electric guitar", "slow tempo", "resonance", "mysterious", "amplified guitar", "resounding", "loud feedback", "minimalist", "spooky", "sinister", "eerie", "scary", "frightening"] | 7 | TSl5LrM6LcQ | 2837

Maxon CS-550 Stereo Chorus Pedal | This song is an instrumental. It is slow tempo with only an Electric guitar harmony. The music is emphatic, loud , clear and pleasant. This is instrumental soft rock. | 2008-06-05T01:31:05Z | ProGuitarShopDemos | Buy Now: https://goo.gl/2nb2Np The Maxon CS-550 Stereo Chorus was originally commissioned by legendary Japanese Rock guitarist Hisato "Char" Takenaka. After 25 years of playing Char still hadn't found a chorus unit that satisfied his critical tastes, so he approached Maxon to build him one. Char had requested three specific points be addressed when designing this unit first that it should have less noise than a standard chorus; second that it should be extremely versatile; and lastly, that it had to be analog. The results of this experiment were so overwhelmingly positive that Maxon decided to market the unit, and thus the CS-550 Stereo Chorus was born. The Maxon CS-550 offers an entire range of classic and unique new chorusing effects. Based around the Panasonic MN3207 (low voltage BBD IC, now out of production), the CS-550's Rate and Depth control can conjure every chorus texture from subtle to severe. The custom-tuned oscillator circuit can provide enough speed to authentically imitate rotary speaker cabinets and just the right amount of modulation for a lush vibrato that won't leave you feeling seasick. The real secret behind the CS-550's amazing tone lies in the Delay Time control. The Delay Time control exhibits an inverse relation between the delay time and the frequency shift of the chorus - as the delay time increases, the frequency that is shifted decreases. This inverse relation creates "double level" and "cancellation" peaks and notches at particular frequency points to create an amazingly realistic, three-dimensional chorus effect. In addition, the Delay Time control is interactive with the Rate and Depth controls, so that if you increase the Depth, the Delay Time range increases, and if you increase the Speed, the Delay Time changes faster. For even more versatility, the Maxon CS-550 features stereo outputs for mono, stereo, or inverted mono signal routing. A rear-mounted Mix Level control determines the level of effected signal vs. dry signal, making the CS-550 perfect for use with bass guitar … | ["Effects unit", "Guitar", "Music", "Musical instrument", "Chorus effect", "Plucked string instrument", "Distortion"] | ["instrumental", "electric guitar", "catchy riff", "amplified guitar", "electronic instruments", "magnified tone", "slow", "emphatic", "soft rock", "mellow", "amateur recording", "youtube video", "youtube music", "mellow", "pleasant", "home video"] | 7 | XDBxMQrRaFY | 3167
MXR Micro Chorus | This music is an electric guitar instrumental. The tempo is medium with an enthusiastic lead on the electric guitar.no accompanying instruments are used. The music is loud, emphatic, catchy, intense and powerful like in Rock/ Metal music. | 2010-03-31T19:48:26Z | ProGuitarShopDemos | Buy Now: https://goo.gl/geiGBu The MXR Micro Chorus is a brilliant reissue of MXRs analog chorus stompbox from the 80s. Utterly simple in design and operation, its old school bucket brigade technology delivers rich warm analog chorus shimmer with just a turn of the rate knob. Although the MXR Micro Chorus operation is a no-brainer with the single Rate knob, there is a gorgeous variety of warm chorus tones available with this perfect little yellow stompbox. Go from subtle shimmer to intense rotator speaker simulation. Housed in a rugged MXR case that saves pedal board real estate, it is true bypass, and runs on standard 9v dc. Engage the pedal and twist the Rate knob all the way for a classic grungey, watery tone. Engage the pedal and keep the Rate knob turned completely down, and get a nice slow lush chorus effect. Just a hint of chorus with the Rate knob will be perfect for metal players needing some smooth shimmer during clean passages. Set it at 12:00 for a rich and simple but effective chorus tone for a variety of styles and applications. Who needs multiple knobs and options? However, without going into a full-blown technical explanation, the components and circuit have certain quirks that distinguish it from a run-of-the-mill phase shifter. For decades, the only viable choices for guitarists seeking authentic classic Uni-Vibe effects were to hunt for an original vintage unit or buy a boutique version, but both options were expensive. The new MXR M68 Uni-Vibe Chorus/Vibrato solves this dilemma once and for all by providing genuine Uni-Vibe effects with thick, rich swirling textures in a pedal that costs less than half of the price of most acclaimed boutique versions. | ["Effects unit", "Electric guitar", "Guitar", "Music", "Musical instrument", "Chorus effect", "Plucked string instrument", "Distortion"] | ["electric guitar", "distortion guitar", "guitar riffs", "guitar licks", "no other instrument", "no voice", "instrumental"] | 0 | cHMDIt3-TsE | 3696

De M169 Carbon Copy voorziet uw gitaar-geluid van die ouderwetse 'badkamer'-echo's of creëert de heerlijk trage Pink Floyd-achtige delays. First pioneered within historic amplifiers of the 1960s, this harmonious coexistence has made it's way onto countless records and performances—from early surf, swampy bayou blues, spaghetti westerns, film noir soundtracks, to modern day indie rock. There are certain things in life that just belong together—the blend of tremolo and reverb create the perfect pair. Given this storied history, there was no doubt that we wanted to develop a studio-class effects pedal that delivers this classic combination. We carefully studied our favorite classic tremolo and reverb circuits, examined the sonic complexities, and faithfully accounted for every detail in our hand-crafted algorithms. Flint harnesses the complete power of a SHARC DSP to authentically exhibit these details. Flint gives you the soothing, pulsating, and hypnotic effects that were pioneered in vintage amplifier tremolo circuits, along with three classic and completely unique reverb algorithms. You get the sonically complex '61 Harmonic Tremolo, the swampy and sultry '63 Power Tube Tremolo, and the sharp and balanced '65 Photocell Tremolo. You also get the classic '60s Spring Tank Reverb, the inventive '70s Electronic Plate Reverb, and the nostalgic '80s Hall Rack Reverb. With eight parameters to tweak, you get extensive control over the tremolo and reverb characteristics. Go from splashy, pulsing twang, to throbbing, swampy blues, all the way to ambient, trembling, and serene reverberated pads. Couple that with true bypass, and a high quality analog front end and output section, and you have yourself the history of tremolo and reverb in a pedal-board friendly format. Strymon Flint Tremelo/Reverb Features: Three hand crafted tremolo algorithms faithfully deliver classic tremolo experiences: '61 Harmonic Tremolo,… | ["Reverberation", "Effects unit", "Guitar", "Music", "Musical instrument", "Electronic tuner", "Plucked string instrument", "Distortion"] | ["electric guitar", "effects pedal", "no voices", "instrumental", "guitar lick", "no other instruments"] | 0 | pL71P2hVjMc | 4702
Electro Harmonix CATHEDRAL stereo reverb guitar effects pedal demo w Les Paul & Blues Jr Amp | This is a gear showcase jam. The electric guitar is being played initially without and then with the effect of a reverb pedal. There is a groovy feel to the solo that is being played. This piece can be sampled to be used as an advertisement jingle or to be used in beat-making. | 2009-10-02T01:41:10Z | gearmanndude | http://www.ehx.com The Cathedral, by electro-harmonix. Super versatile reverb with some sweet presets. The reverse setting is my favorite. Yes, I still hate reverb, but have given in to the fact that I must demo them anyway. I had only 7 minutes left on my camera tape, so I did a quick run through of the presets to show what could be done with the box of echos. I used my 59 historic les paul and a lovely Fender blues junior amplifier. | ["Reverberation", "Effects unit", "Guitar", "Music", "Musical instrument", "Plucked string instrument", "Distortion"] | ["gear showcase", "jam", "no singer", "instrumental", "electric guitar", "effect pedal", "reverb", "easygoing", "groovy"] | 9 | pTzINk_nVHg | 4713

Electro-Harmonix Pitch Fork Polyphonic Pitch Shifter Pedal (Demo by Bill Ruppert) | This is an instrumental progressive rock music piece. There is an electric guitar playing complex tunes and chords with a pitch shifting effect. There is a psychedelic feel to this track. Parts of this recording could be used in an advertisement jingle. | 2014-10-07T18:11:27Z | EHX | The Electro-Harmonix Pitch Fork polyphonic pitch shifter pedal transposes an instrument’s pitch over a +/- three octave range and features three modes which allow the pitch to be transposed up, down or both, simultaneously. The pitch shift amount can be set to a fixed interval or continuously varied by an expression pedal or control voltage. The controls are straightforward and intuitive. An 11-position Shift switch selects the maximum transposition interval ranging from D (Detune), a shift of 17 cents, through Minor 2nd, Major 2nd, Major 3rd, Perfect 4th, Perfect 5th, Major 6th, Minor 7th, 1 Octave, 2 Octaves and 3 Octaves. A three position toggle switch controls whether the pitch is transposed up, down or both. In Dual mode, two pitch-shifted signals are output. One follows the shift knob as if in the Up position while the other creates a harmony. Dual Mode settings include M3 up + P5 up, P5 up + 1 Oct down, 1 Oct up + 1 Oct down and many others. A Blend knob controls the mix of the dry signal and the effected signal, and an EXP jack enables the player to control pitch and glissando with an expression pedal. The Latch button selects Latch or Momentary mode which affects how the footswitch and EXP input behave. In Latch mode, the footswitch toggles between effect on and buffered bypass each time it’s pressed and the EXP input continuously varies pitch. In Momentary mode the effect is only on while the footswitch is depressed and when it is released the Pitch Fork goes into bypass. In Latch mode the EXP input controls pitch shift amount, ranging from unity to the interval set by the Shift knob, and pitch varies continuously throughout the expression pedal’s range. In Momentary mode the EXP input controls glissando rate for the Pitch Fork’s footswitch. When the bypass footswitch is pressed, the Pitch Fork jumps from bypass to the interval set by the Shift knob. The amount of time it takes to reach that new note is the glissando rate. When the footswitch is released the pitch will return to unity at the same rat… | ["Reverberation", "Effects unit", "Electric guitar", "Guitar", "Music", "Musical instrument", "Plucked string instrument"] | ["jam", "no singer", "instrumental", "single instrument", "electric guitar", "guitar solo", "pitch shift", "complex", "psychedelic"] | 9 | s2O2xaRfje0 | 4918
