Bach Cello Suite no. 1 Prelude Baritone Saxophone | This is a classical music piece performed on a baritone saxophone. The tone of the baritone saxophone resembles a cello sound. There is a tender feel to the melody being played. The atmosphere is heart-touching. This piece would fit perfectly in the soundtrack of a documentary with serene scenes such as a birdlife documentary. | 2010-03-19T04:30:34Z | sklrjkt | ::EDIT:: For everyone asking about sheet music, I bought a book with all 6 Suites for Cello, as in written in bass clef, and transposed them by sight. No, I will not send you a copy of it. Buy sheet music to help keep publishers in business!!! Recorded this on March 18th, 2010 over spring break. Have been meaning to post a recording of the Prelude for a while, and since I got some new microphones (2 MXL 993 Microphones) I figured it was a good opportunity to do so. Before yesterday (the 18th) it had been a few months since I'd played it, so it is a bit rough in a few parts. Also, I toyed with putting some reverb on it since the room I was in was not exactly ideal, but it tended to just muddy it up so what is heard is the completely clean signal. I was pretty happy with the result of this, and the microphones were definitely worth the money I paid for them. Hope you all enjoy! Here was my setup: -2 MXL 993 microphones -Tascam US-122 Interface -Recorded on my Mac in Audacity -Built-in Mac Camera (because my other cams battery was dead -__-;;;) | ["Brass instrument", "Saxophone"] | ["classical music", "amateur recording", "instrumental", "single instrument", "baritone saxophone", "cello-like sound", "tender", "heart-touching"] | 9 | pXz67syyse0 | 4718 |
