WHITE STRIPES - My Doorbell | A male vocalist sings this perky pop song. His tempo is medium fast with punchy drumming; animated amplified piano accompaniment, tambourine beats and funky bass lines. The song is simple, peppy, engaging, energetic, story telling, and catchy. This song is Classic Pop/ Soft Rock. | 2013-05-04T13:12:45Z | Jurassic56 | "My Doorbell" by the American alternative rock band The White Stripes is the second single from their album Get Behind Me Satan (2005). The song garnered The White Stripes a 2006 Grammy nomination for Best Pop Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocals. The White Stripes were an American rock duo, formed in 1997 in Detroit, Michigan. The group consisted of drummer Meg White (drums and occasional vocals) and songwriter Jack White (vocals, guitar, and keyboards). Meg and Jack White were previously married to each other, but are now divorced. After releasing several singles and three albums within the Detroit music scene, the White Stripes rose to prominence in 2002, as part of the garage rock revival scene. Their successful and critically acclaimed albums White Blood Cells and Elephant drew them attention from a large variety of media outlets in the United States and the United Kingdom, with the single "Seven Nation Army" and its now-iconic guitar riff becoming a huge hit. The band recorded a further two albums, Get Behind Me Satan in 2005 and Icky Thump in 2007. The group was dissolved in 2011 after a lengthy hiatus from performing and recording. The White Stripes used a low-fidelity approach to writing and recording. Their music featured a melding of garage rock and blues influences and a raw simplicity of composition, arrangement, and performance. The duo was also noted for their fashion and design aesthetic which featured an exclusive use of a simple color scheme of red, white, and black, which was used on every album and single cover the band released- as well as the band's obsession with the number three. The band's discography consists of six studio albums, one live album, two extended plays (EP), one concert film, one tour documentary, twenty-six singles, and fourteen music videos. Their last three albums each won the Grammy Award for Best Alternative Music Album. My Guinea-pigs ate the Christmas Tree... | A female vocalist sings this cheerful song. The tempo is fast with a peppy keyboard harmony, simple, march like drumming, steady bass line, acoustic guitar and bells chiming. The song is a foreign language but from the sound and vibe of it, it seems like a fun, happy, joyful, cheerful, warm hearted and popular folk song. | 2006-12-20T16:35:29Z | Havshexan | This may happen if you let the guinea pigs loose on a Christmas tree... Next day there was nothing left but some small peices of wood. The tree in the video is a Scandinavian spruce (picea abies) and it's not poisonous. There are other species of evergreens that are poisonous, like for exemple silver spruce. Don't give any branches to your guinea-pigs, if you aren't sure what they are! Even the spruce in the video contains etheric oils which could be harmful in large quantities. Some of the oils evaporate if you keep the brances a few day's before giving them to the piggies. Sadly, all the cute cavies in the video but one have gone to guinea pig heaven. Now there's only Olga left and she just turned 7 years (beginning of December 2011). Fortunatly she now has 3 new compagnions. | ["Music", "Happy music"] | ["female vocals", "fast tempo", "foreign language", "folk song", "regional song", "enthusiastic vocals", "energetic", "emphatic singing", "peppy", "spanish", "keyboard harmony", "bells chining", "steady bass lines", "enthusiastic", "fun", "happy", "cheerful", "upbeat", "enthusiastic", "perky", "march like drumming"] | 7 | ar4YQ_DOcyk | 3578 |
