Frank Martin: Concerto per clavicembalo e piccola orchestra (1951/1952) | This is a classical harpsichord piece that elicits a feeling of suspense and tension in the listener. There are low sustained cellos which provide a contrast to the bright tones of the harpsichord. The piece feels haunting and has a sense of drama about it. | 2012-01-22T18:19:44Z | Wellesz Theatre. | Frank Martin (1890-1974): Concerto per clavicembalo e piccola orchestra, commissionato da Isabelle Nef (1951/1952) -- Isabelle Nef, clavicembalo -- L'Ensemble orchestral de L'Oiseau Lyre diretto da Louis de Froment -- I. Winchester Mystery House Documentary (1963) - Lillian Gish | The song is an instrumental soundtrack. The tempo is medium with a string section harmony, horn section, flutes playing , violins playing and lower harmony played judiciously. The song is haunting and full of suspense. The song is a vintage suspense movie soundtrack. | 2015-02-18T06:50:32Z | stevers62 | This is the 1963 documentary (narrated by Lillian Gish) of the Winchester Mystery House. It's fascinating to see it as it was in 1963, and Lillian's narration is great. Hope you enjoy! Another YouTube user was kind enough to upload a version of this a couple years ago, and I found it fascinating. The only problem was the original source material was fairly washed out, and the full color network logo was extremely distracting. I made it black-and-white and increased the contrast to make it easier to see the material. It's still not great, but the content is so fascinating, historic, and spooky, it's still great viewing. If whoever posted the original wants to re-post this version, please just download and ping me and I'll take this one down. Just hoping to share this fascinating documentary. By the way, if you can redirect this to a 3-D television, it really gives a much better sense of depth and interest. | ["Foghorn", "Music", "Outside, urban or manmade"] | ["poor audio quality", "movie soundtrack", "haunting", "eerie", "string section harmony", "flutes playing", "crouching bass line", "horn section", "conductor", "instrumental", "suspense", "emotional", "building anticipation", "no percussion instruments", "retro movie soundtrack", "spooky movie", "dramatic", "philharmonic orchestra"] | 1 | 17AtKbQ7glU | 239 |
