cacophony - MTV | This is the opening jingle of a TV show that is in the style of a mashup. There is a male voice speaking and then burping. There is a melodic pad playing at random occasions. A female vocalist can be heard singing with a keyboard melody and an electronic drum beat very briefly. Then the male voice and the pad returns. There is a chaotic atmosphere. Separate samples from this piece could be used in both beat-making and DJ sets/remixes. | 2007-09-16T17:13:27Z | newmediaclass | by shahar shamay... hi :-) | ["Music", "Cacophony"] | ["mashup", "jingle", "pad", "male voice", "burping", "female vocal", "keyboard", "electronic drums", "chaotic", "disorderly", "random"] | 9 | KDzy3ZL626U | 2068
Experimental Electronica 1988: Young Sycamore | This is an experimental electronica piece. There are various synth sounds, some at medium range and most at high range. There is a disorganized, chaotic feel to this piece. It carries an atmosphere of randomness that can be most optimistically classified as avant-garde. This piece could be used in horror movies and video games to signify a separation from reality. | 2011-07-31T15:42:52Z | longzijun (alternate channel) | Young Sycamore was composed in 1988 at Carleton University, It had live vocal and percussion parts that weren't recorded. It was only performed once. The first part featured a small group of singer chanting, the second part featured an operatic style 12-tone aria and the third part featured the performers on percussion instruments. This is the full version of the 2nd track - Young Sycamore - of Experimental Music (1984-1989): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zPhuyMYy9EI The lyrics were adapted from a poem of the same name by Wlliam Carlos Williams. The piece was written/played using the software 'PC Composer' and a midi controller. The first two parts (if I remember correctly) were written according to a 12-tone system.' https://longzijun.wordpress.com/music/ | ["Electronic music", "Music"] | ["experimental electronica", "alternative", "avant-garde", "synth bass", "high-pitched synth", "disorganized", "chaotic", "random", "schizophrenic", "no beat"] | 9 | V7RPmwxyhBA | 2975
Dead ceiling fans | This music is an instrumental with medium tempo. Four different tracks that are completely unrelated are being played one after another. It begins with an intense violin symphony, followed by a beep and a dead phone tone, and some synthesised articulation with bass synth. The music is dissonant, chaotic, confusing and random. | 2015-09-23T02:58:53Z | LasVegasTech | ["Busy signal", "Music"] | ["instrumental", "synthesised arrangements", "bass synth", "sinister", "mysterious", "random", "intense violin harmony", "cello", "unrelated tracks", "phone tone", "beep", "chaotic", "confusing", "dissonant"] | 7 | VwkRHbqpHqk | 3044 |
