\nSpecial thanks to PAT!\n\nhttp://www.pietroballestrero.com/lezioni/\n\nRiprese di legovideo:\nhttp://www.legovideo.com/\n\nTranscription of Pat Metheny's solo, played together with a slower version of the original recording from the record Still life talking.\nTo be honest, I have always been wondering what was the point in videos like this, where someone films himself while playing a transcription. But when I learnt theese solos I realized how great their learning potential is: they can show a whole world about the language of imrpovised music and about guitar technique: phrasing, timing, accents, use of legato, fingerings... So, as a jazz guitar teacher, I wished to share this great learning experience with anybody who would try to transcribe this material himself, by showing from a close up recording the left hand movements.\nSpecial thanks to PAT!\n\nhttp://www.pietroballestrero.com/en/", "musiccaps_names": "[\"Electric guitar\", \"Jazz\", \"Music\", \"Musical instrument\", \"Bluegrass\"]", "musiccaps_aspects": "[\"electric guitar\", \"solo\", \"backing track\", \"fast notes\", \"jazz-fusion genre\"]", "musiccaps_author": "2", "youtube_id": "nVsAyArtEh0", "musiccaps_rowid": 4546} {"video": "https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zx_vcwOsDO4&start=50&end=60", "youtube_link": "{\"label\":\"Gus Drax - Advanced Technique Lessons #3 (Arpeggios, Legato, Tapping, String Skipping)\",\"href\":\"https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zx_vcwOsDO4&start=50&end=60\"}", "musiccaps_caption": "The rock music is purely instrumental and features an electric guitar with a distortion effect on.
