Pour ceux qui se demandent si ce chant est d'origine SS ou non, voici mon point de vue :

C'est à l'origine un chant militaire allemand nommé ""Der gute Kamerad"" (Le Bon Compagnon) écrit par Ludwig Uhland, poète allemand, au début du 19ème siècle. Il est plus connu sous le nom de Ich Hatt' Einen Kameraden (première phrase du premier couplet). C'est devenu et reste un chant allemand de référence très populaire même en dehors de l'armée, aussi connu que l'hymne allemand (à l'instar du chant des partisans en France).
Il a donc été interprété par les armées allemandes, y compris les SS. De là, à l'identifier comme un chant SS"", non. Il n'a rien de SS. Il a été créé bien avant eux, n'y fait référence en rien, et n'a aucun caractère ""nazi"". C'est un beau chant sur la perte d'un camarade au combat. Je trouve donc dommage que certains le dénigrent car il a été chanté par des SS. Par équivalence, cela reviendrai à cracher sur l'Allemagne car elle a été un jour nazie.
