He makes yirdaki occasionally for sale, but this instrument stands apart from the others for the reason that it was made for ceremony.

Light and thin-walled, this is a rare stick that gives insight into instruments prefered by Yolngu for personal and ceremonial use. It has a totally natural termite-eaten bore, quite smooth with few convolutions inside giving clean yet traditional gruff acoustics.
