I lowered the rubber bar and the keys fly a bit faster, but I think I am going to avoid 'noiseless', because I noticed it on my other typewriter also. The bell, is beyond me. They were crafty in design, perhaps a bit too crafty. If I change the feet, I'll do a video on it. As of now, they stay. Also, I left the original paint. This typewriter has lived a long life with it, and I hate adding anything that is not needed. The rubber had to go, but the paint stayed. I had to paint a few pieces, as rust had come through.
