Again. Using the foundation of the widely-regarded Eterna reverb, the latest and final word on shimmer reverb is here. The algorithm of the original has been overhauled to deliver a feature set worthy of the color gold—from impossibly long decays to astonishing shimmer swells. If you've been on the market for a shimmering reverb but haven't been able to make a decision, congratulations. This is the end of your journey. The decay time of the original has been vastly expanded upon. The original Eterna's decay stands at 40+ seconds. For those players that require a little more, the Eterna Gold Modified has widened that decay time to over a full minute of opulent reverb. The reverb engine itself has also been thoroughly tweaked to change the amount of reflections created after picking, creating a fuller, richer base sound for the decay to feast upon. As the decay knob is turned counter-clockwise, the Eterna Gold Modified starts to shimmer-swell, and when the decay knob is dimed, swelling is also at maximum. Much like the original, a precise amount of shimmer can be mixed in with the shimmer knob, from lush bottomless verb to a massive sacred chorale. It all comes in a standard-sized MXR box with a simple three-knob setup and a hi-fi analog dry path with a massive 20 volts of headroom thanks to Constant Headroom Technology™. Each reverb style is as richly detailed as any found in the highest-end rack units and plug-ins, and all you have to do to step through them is push the Tone knob. The PLATE setting provides a shimmering smooth wash of space that’s a go-to choice from the studio recording world. SPRING sets a new standard for truly authentic sounding reverb without coiled metal—a perfect recreation of the classic amp-based effect, with the Tone control taking you from dark vintage amp spring, through classic jangle, to bright surfy splatter. EPIC is a unique combination of multiple interwoven analog-tone delay lines and complex modulation—perfect for solos from that more shaded part of the lunar landscape. MOD throws down a plate-flavored spaciousness with richly organic modulation in the feedback path. The ROOM style adds subtle body and projection to your guitar tone at shorter decay times while longer decay times yield rich organic space that doesn’t wash out. PAD closes out the line-up with a unique combination of sub-octave + octave-up with echoes + ""shimmer"" + synth/organ modulation + reverb. Connect a Dunlop DVP series volume/expression pedal to the expression jack to toggle and blend between two different knob setting configurations. Roland's innovative Multi-Dimensional Processing (MDP) analyzes audio signals in many dimensions and applies ideal effects to each. By giving different dynamic changes relative to the input signal in real time, MDP can create bold, all-new sounds with a previously unattainable range of expression. The TE-2 Tera Echo represents a milestone as the 100th model in the long history of the BOSS compact series. Starting with the release of the OD-1 Overdrive in 1977, BOSS' legendary stompboxes have been integral tools of artistic expression for millions of players around the world. After 25 years of playing Char still hadn't found a chorus unit that satisfied his critical tastes, so he approached Maxon to build him one. Char had requested three specific points be addressed when designing this unit first that it should have less noise than a standard chorus; second that it should be extremely versatile; and lastly, that it had to be analog. The results of this experiment were so overwhelmingly positive that Maxon decided to market the unit, and thus the CS-550 Stereo Chorus was born. The Maxon CS-550 offers an entire range of classic and unique new chorusing effects. Based around the Panasonic MN3207 (low voltage BBD IC, now out of production), the CS-550's Rate and Depth control can conjure every chorus texture from subtle to severe. The custom-tuned oscillator circuit can provide enough speed to authentically imitate rotary speaker cabinets and just the right amount of modulation for a lush vibrato that won't leave you feeling seasick. The real secret behind the CS-550's amazing tone lies in the Delay Time control. The Delay Time control exhibits an inverse relation between the delay time and the frequency shift of the chorus - as the delay time increases, the frequency that is shifted decreases. This inverse relation creates ""double level"" and ""cancellation"" peaks and notches at particular frequency points to create an amazingly realistic, three-dimensional chorus effect. In addition, the Delay Time control is interactive with the Rate and Depth controls, so that if you increase the Depth, the Delay Time range increases, and if you increase the Speed, the Delay Time changes faster. For even more versatility, the Maxon CS-550 features stereo outputs for mono, stereo, or inverted mono signal routing. A rear-mounted Mix Level control determines the level of effected signal vs. dry signal, making the CS-550 perfect for use with bass guitar as well. All the CS-550's features are kept dead quiet by a Signetics #NE571 compander in the circuit that eliminates unwanted noise. Discontinued in 2003 due to shortages of the Panasonic BBD's that power it, the Maxon CS-550 was re-issued in 2005 in answer to overwhelming demand for the pedal. The reissue unit has an identical circuit to the original with the addition of a 4PDT switch for true bypass switching of both outputs. http://www.proguitarshop.com/product.php?ProductID=741&CategoryID=","[""Effects unit"", ""Guitar"", ""Music"", ""Musical instrument"", ""Chorus effect"", ""Plucked string instrument"", ""Distortion""]","[""instrumental"", ""electric guitar"", ""catchy riff"", ""amplified guitar"", ""electronic instruments"", ""magnified tone"", ""slow"", ""emphatic"", ""soft rock"", ""mellow"", ""amateur recording"", ""youtube video"", ""youtube music"", ""mellow"", ""pleasant"", ""home video""]",7,XDBxMQrRaFY,3167 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XQB27QPic3k&start=30&end=40,"{""label"":""Keeley Magnetic Echo vs MXR Carbon Copy"",""href"":""https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XQB27QPic3k&start=30&end=40""}",This is a gear showcase jam recording. De M169 Carbon Copy voorziet uw gitaar-geluid van die ouderwetse 'badkamer'-echo's of creëert de heerlijk trage Pink Floyd-achtige delays. Het gitaarpedaal - met dezelfde afmetingen en sterke behuizing als van bijvoorbeeld de klassieke Phase 90 - is instelbaar via drie draaiknoppen en twee interne regelingen. We are proud to announce the all new Seafoam Plus Chorus – True Chorus and ADT with Reverb. It will forever change the way you think about chorus because we have developed a new type of chorus until now only available in expensive DAWs and in studios. Not only is it tuned for guitar, but there are voices and modes created specifically for bass players including flanging and tremolo. Lastly this tri-mode chorus offers internal switching for vintage and modern tones further doubling the amount of sounds you can get. ADT: In the Seafoam Plus Chorus you get the automatic doubler that we developed in the revolutionary 30ms Double Tracker. Our ADT chorus is what we call True Chorus because we create a second and third voice like singers in a choir. Not only do they sing at different times, they sing at different pitches. True Chorus. Seafoam Mode: You guessed it, the all new Seafoam Plus Chorus, lush wide and with a very musical vibrato. Gives you the lush sounds and tone of a vintage BBD analog chorus unit.. This is where you’ll find a typical chorus feature. This mode of the pedal has an LFO, the regularly cycling part you hear in most every other chorus unit. It provides a classic tone that you expect and has become part of many classic tunes. Set the rate for slow and depth for wide and enjoy a really spacious sounding chorus. Roll the Mix Control all of the way up for Vibrato. With the Space control as a Tone Control in this mode you can go from bright to vintage warmth, dialing in the perfect chorus. Dual Chorus Mode: We created a frequency cross-over based dual chorus engine. Imagine a dividing line that is centered on your high E-string. Control the depth of chorus independently for highs and lows. Craft the ultimate “Come As You Are” niravana of chorus tones. Create a very deep throbbing chorus on the low end, and near perfect calm on the top end. Or make the high-end and shimmer and waver while keeping the low end fixed! Choralflangelo Okay, it goes twice as deep. The Seafoam Plus Chorus is a Bass Chorus, Flanger, and Tremolo too! Pop the back off, flick a switch and it’s a bass guitar player’s dream. The Space Controls gives you controls or Regeneration, High Pass filtering to keep things tight, and a haunting Tremolo you have to hear to believe! So let’s get down and funky Michelangelo! Vintage At Heart Want a softer tone? Chorus that’s silky smooth and warm? No problem, internal switching puts it in “Vintage Mode”. The Keeley Seafoam Plus Chorus ships in “Modern Mode” for ultra wide, lush and high fidelity chorus. Either way, enjoy sounds that are down right frighteningly good. It does a lot of cool things - but its not a ""guitar synthesizer"" in the sense it doesn't create sawtooth or square waves - what it does is give you different octaves and harmonies relative to your original pitch. It then puts that signal thru a 12 db resonant lowpass filter. It doesn't really work that well with chords unless you put the envelope on a slow fade in setting. When you adjust your playing style you can coax all sorts of cool sounds out of it. Its really great for adding ambient textures to your music. I hope this will help you decide if you can use the HOG in your creative process. I was kinda disappointed with the EH demonstration of it from NAMM on YouTube. Camcorder mics suck - especially in a huge convention hall. I would love to produce product demo videos for some of these guys! I improvised some music for this video incorporating the Pigtronix Echolution -including a couple spots where I looped a short segment and played on top of it. I also ran the sound thru a little bit of reverb on my Lexicon PCM-80. I also used just a tiny amount of chorus from the Roland SDX Dimensional Expander. My favorite feature of the HOG is the expression pedal - especially the ""volume"" mode which lets you blend in the amount of effected signal with the original guitar signal. Kind of like a volume swell. The other is the ""filter"" mode which gives you an awesome analog wah effect. Of course the whole idea here is to hopefully inspire your creative ideas - and think of ways you might use this tool.","[""Reverberation"", ""Electronic music"", ""Effects unit"", ""Guitar"", ""Music"", ""Musical instrument"", ""Synthesizer""]","[""electronic music"", ""fuzzy synth sound"", ""bright spacey synth sound"", ""futuristic synth sound"", ""reverberating synth"", ""space ship""]",3,gIFg6jvXgb4,4023 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gffng5G4X4w&start=270&end=280,"{""label"":""Mogami Cable Vs. First pioneered within historic amplifiers of the 1960s, this harmonious coexistence has made it's way onto countless records and performances—from early surf, swampy bayou blues, spaghetti westerns, film noir soundtracks, to modern day indie rock. There are certain things in life that just belong together—the blend of tremolo and reverb create the perfect pair. Given this storied history, there was no doubt that we wanted to develop a studio-class effects pedal that delivers this classic combination. We carefully studied our favorite classic tremolo and reverb circuits, examined the sonic complexities, and faithfully accounted for every detail in our hand-crafted algorithms. Flint harnesses the complete power of a SHARC DSP to authentically exhibit these details. Flint gives you the soothing, pulsating, and hypnotic effects that were pioneered in vintage amplifier tremolo circuits, along with three classic and completely unique reverb algorithms. You get the sonically complex '61 Harmonic Tremolo, the swampy and sultry '63 Power Tube Tremolo, and the sharp and balanced '65 Photocell Tremolo. You also get the classic '60s Spring Tank Reverb, the inventive '70s Electronic Plate Reverb, and the nostalgic '80s Hall Rack Reverb. With eight parameters to tweak, you get extensive control over the tremolo and reverb characteristics. Go from splashy, pulsing twang, to throbbing, swampy blues, all the way to ambient, trembling, and serene reverberated pads. Couple that with true bypass, and a high quality analog front end and output section, and you have yourself the history of tremolo and reverb in a pedal-board friendly format. Strymon Flint Tremelo/Reverb Features: Three hand crafted tremolo algorithms faithfully deliver classic tremolo experiences: '61 Harmonic Tremolo, '63 Power Tube Tremolo, '65 Photocell Tremolo Three distinct reverb algorithms: '60s Spring Tank Reverb, '70s Electronic Reverb, '80s Hall Rack Reverb Two tremolo adjustment and tone shaping knobs: Intensity, Speed Three reverb adjustment and tone shaping knobs: Decay, Color, Mix Four ""hidden"" knobs for extensive tone tweaking: Tremolo Boost/Cut, Reverb Boost/Cut, Effect Order, Tap Subdivision","[""Reverberation"", ""Effects unit"", ""Guitar"", ""Music"", ""Musical instrument"", ""Electronic tuner"", ""Plucked string instrument"", ""Distortion""]","[""electric guitar"", ""effects pedal"", ""no voices"", ""instrumental"", ""guitar lick"", ""no other instruments""]",0,pL71P2hVjMc,4702 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pTzINk_nVHg&start=270&end=280,"{""label"":""Electro Harmonix CATHEDRAL stereo reverb guitar effects pedal demo w Les Paul & Blues Jr Amp"",""href"":""https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pTzINk_nVHg&start=270&end=280""}",This is a gear showcase jam. Parts of this recording could be used in an advertisement jingle.,2014-10-07T18:11:27Z,EHX,"The Electro-Harmonix Pitch Fork polyphonic pitch shifter pedal transposes an instrument’s pitch over a +/- three octave range and features three modes which allow the pitch to be transposed up, down or both, simultaneously. The pitch shift amount can be set to a fixed interval or continuously varied by an expression pedal or control voltage. The controls are straightforward and intuitive. An 11-position Shift switch selects the maximum transposition interval ranging from D (Detune), a shift of 17 cents, through Minor 2nd, Major 2nd, Major 3rd, Perfect 4th, Perfect 5th, Major 6th, Minor 7th, 1 Octave, 2 Octaves and 3 Octaves. A three position toggle switch controls whether the pitch is transposed up, down or both. In Dual mode, two pitch-shifted signals are output. One follows the shift knob as if in the Up position while the other creates a harmony. Dual Mode settings include M3 up + P5 up, P5 up + 1 Oct down, 1 Oct up + 1 Oct down and many others. A Blend knob controls the mix of the dry signal and the effected signal, and an EXP jack enables the player to control pitch and glissando with an expression pedal. The Latch button selects Latch or Momentary mode which affects how the footswitch and EXP input behave. In Latch mode, the footswitch toggles between effect on and buffered bypass each time it’s pressed and the EXP input continuously varies pitch. In Momentary mode the effect is only on while the footswitch is depressed and when it is released the Pitch Fork goes into bypass. In Latch mode the EXP input controls pitch shift amount, ranging from unity to the interval set by the Shift knob, and pitch varies continuously throughout the expression pedal’s range. In Momentary mode the EXP input controls glissando rate for the Pitch Fork’s footswitch. When the bypass footswitch is pressed, the Pitch Fork jumps from bypass to the interval set by the Shift knob. The amount of time it takes to reach that new note is the glissando rate. When the footswitch is released the pitch will return to unity at the same rate. That glissando time can vary between 4 milliseconds to two seconds depending on the heel/toe position of the expression pedal. The default glissando rate is 60 milliseconds when nothing is plugged into the EXP input. The Pitch Fork comes equipped with an EHX 9.6DC-200mA power supply and also runs on a 9Volt battery. That's probably not going to happen though - he's not even allowed back in this galaxy for another 400 years. So instead, he's decided he'd like to teach your guitar to sing... in perfect harmony... with itself... from space. The sound effect chorus has a lot in common with the magical awesomeness of space. When one looks to the sky on a clear night, one sees many, many - literally, dozens - of stars, all being seen by one's eyes at the same time, but not all coming from the same place or time. These stars combine into a singular cool-looking thing... space. Now forget about all those boring stars and think about your guitar tone. Now think about many, many - ok, 1024 - instances of your guitar tone, all combining into a singular, cool-sounding thing... the magical awesomeness of... the COSMICHORUS! In space there's a large number of amazing stars and planets and stuff like that... but that number is nowhere near as big as the number of amazing chorus sounds in a Cosmichorus! All the coolest chorus sounds in the universe - including way off the map and uncharted ones - are in this device...ready to make your guitar sing! The Cosmichorus does it all... from thick and warm and lush to thin and bright and sparkly to intense chorus sounds you aren't going to hear anywhere else on this planet... or other ones. The Cosmichorus doesn't stop at giving you an incredible array of chorus sounds though... Dr. Scientist insists you have an incredible amount of control over the sounds too! The GRAVITY control adjusts the depth of the chorus effect, from nearly inaudible to nearly able to upset your stomach. The switch above toggles between the light and dark side... the dark side is warm and thick while the light side is bright... and still thick also. The DIMENSION control alters the delay time of the special bucket brigade delay chorus chip. With it all the way down the chorus effect is very airy and flanger-like. All the way up and the chorus effect is very dramatic and intense, really deep and spaced out. The switch above removes the dry signal from the mix so you only hear the delayed signal... makes for a neat vibrato sound. The SPEED knob controls the rate of the effect and the switch above toggles between two overall rate settings, very slow to medium and medium to very fast. Dr. Scientist knows you need a wild sounding chorus pedal. One that makes really cool and interesting chorus sounds and can go from very subtle to very extreme. And yeah... one with a neat looking LED that glows in time with the chorus effect. One just like... the COSMICHORUS Dr. Scientist Sounds Cosmichorus Features: Fully analog BBD chorus using MN3007 chips Controls include MIX (fully dry to fully wet, fully wet is true pitch vibrato), LEVEL (adjusts the wet signal level, dry signal is fixed at unity), TREBLE (active eq control to cut or boost the treble content of the wet signal), CLOCK (adjusts the intensity of the effect by increasing the delay time), RATE (huge range of rate smoothly distributed on one knob turn), HOLD (adjusts the rise/fall time of the chorus signal when in Hold mode) Stereo in and out (using TRS jacks) with two identical but separate Cosmichorus circuits, can also do mono in stereo out Soft touch switching with true bypass using relays 3 different clock range toggle-switch settings for 3 different intensities of chorus effect, further controlled with the Clock knob Hold Mode toggle-switch lets you engage the chorus effect by holding down the stomp switch, fades out when you release the stomp (with the Hold knob at min the effects starts and stops instantly, at maximum the effect takes a few seconds to fully fade in when the stomp is pressed and a few seconds to fully fade out when the stomp is released) Phase inversion toggle puts the wet signal either in-phase or out-of-phase with the dry signal. In mono this changes the character of the mixed sound, in stereo it changes the width of the stereo spread between the amps Expression pedal input for controlling the rate Rate knob is clear with LED underneath that flashes with rate of effect CV input for controlling the chorus effect, can also be used with expression pedal for manually sweeping the effect","[""Effects unit"", ""Guitar"", ""Music"", ""Musical instrument"", ""Chorus effect"", ""Plucked string instrument""]","[""low quality"", ""electric guitar melody"", ""distortion pedal effect"", ""noisy"", ""mono""]",4,yBYd03Hr2kQ,5391 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yfZ0z1C3blk&start=30&end=40,"{""label"":""Ibanez DE7 Delay/Echo Pedal"",""href"":""https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yfZ0z1C3blk&start=30&end=40""}","The low quality recording features a melancholic electric guitar melody with echoing effects on.
