Si deseas afinar la guitarra de manera standard (EADGBe) no necesitas moverle al tipo de afinación (Presets). Afloja la 6ta. cuerda (E) hasta que produzca un sonido sordo, ahora la vas apretando poco a poco. Deja de apretarla y tocas la cuerda, te debes de fijar, primeramente, que la ubicación de la sombra color violeta situada en la barra inferior debe de sombrear la letra E y si no lo esta la sigues apretando. Cuando la sombra ya se haya colocado en la letra E (Mi) debes de apretar la cuerda hasta que la aguja se posicione en el cero (posición vertical), en ese momento la cuerda estará afinada. Luego te sigues con la 5ta. cuerda (A). La sombra debe de estar en A y la aguja en cero.
