Although this video only shows the pipes and drums there were also displays of highland dancing by Loretto School Combined Cadet Force, a first aid display by Lothian and Borders Battalion ACF, a drill display by Northern Area Sea Cadet Force and 2535 (Livingstone) Squadron ATC and the military bands of the Cadet Forces.

There are training courses in Inverness for these young pipers and drummers and the bands parade annually in Dingwall and Inverness. Friday 18 September 2009: in the afternoon the Massed Pipes and Drums Band is performing in the streets of the old heart of Arnhem. In the evening, about 7 pm they go in a slow march towards the Airborne square, to grace the real Market Garden Commemoration. You find everything about laying wreaths, speeches, national anthems of Poland, United Kingdom and The Netherlands (Mazurek Dabrowskiego, God save the queen, Wilhelmus), Dutch Hymn 293 Last Post, respectfull silence to the casualities and the reveille. The completion of the ceremony was at the Arnhem town hall, of which I taped the performance of the Massed Pipes and Drums Band.
