It was always going to be the home of the working miniature, but when The Curator found this little diamond on his travels, it really sets the musical bar higher!

The mini electronic Theremin kit by Gakken of Japan, is just all-round cool. Coming as a magazine with ready-to-assemble parts, you can create a true working miniature electronic instrument.

The Theremin is widely used in science fiction for its eerie electronic sound, but its also considered a true orchestral instrument.

So join us with The Curator as he showcases and assembles this miniature marvel from Japan - and who knows? He may even give us a tune (of sorts)
