Hey pilots!  I am so excited to bring to you this flight review! 1/27/09 - just a quick simple review of the Behringer VM1, a.k.a  ""Deluxe Memory Man clone"". (i usually dont do reviews, but there wasnt many demos of this pedal on the tube at the time, so i figured id give it the ol' college try). I wasn't really in the market for a Deluxe Memory Man (never have been), but when i saw this for a quarter of the price (70 u.s dollars) i figured why not? an analog delay pedal for 70? plus it has all the other bells and whistles. all clean tones in this video coming from a Line 6 Micro Spider with no effects, i'm using an ESP Eclipse II, also i play alot of ""stop on the dime"" chords of randomness (nothin fancy ladies and gents) in this video so you can hear the decay and how the delay/echo breaks up. the max delay is quite long if i may say so, i believe it's 550ms? All the major categories of musical instruments (percussion, wind, stringed) were represented in pharaonic Egypt. Percussion instruments included hand-held drums, rattles, castanets, bells, and the sistrum--a highly important rattle used in religious worship. Hand clapping too was used as a rhythmic accompaniment. Wind instruments included flutes (double and single, with reeds and without) and trumpets. Stringed instruments included harps, lyres, and lutes--plucked rather than bowed. Instruments were frequently inscribed with the name of the owner and decorated with representations of the goddess (Hathor) or god (Bes) of music. Both male and female voices were also frequently used in Egyptian music.

Professional musicians existed on a number of social levels in ancient Egypt. Perhaps the highest status belonged to temple musicians; the office of ""musician"" (shemayet) to a particular god or goddess was a position of high status frequently held by women. Musicians connected with the royal household were held in high esteem, as were certain gifted singers and harp players. Somewhat lower on the social scale were musicians who acted as entertainers for parties and festivals, frequently accompanied by dancers. Informal singing is suggested by scenes of workers in action; captions to many of these pictures have been interpreted as words of songs. Otherwise there is little evidence for the amateur musician in pharaonic Egypt, and it is unlikely that musical achievement was seen as a desirable goal for individuals who were not professionals.

The ancient Egyptians did not notate their music before the Graeco-Roman period, so attempts to reconstruct pharaonic music remain speculative. Representational evidence can give a general idea of the sound of Egyptian music. Ritual temple music was largely a matter of the rattling of the sistrum, accompanied by voice, sometimes with harp and/or percussion. Westmoreland, NH.  May 22, 2012.  About 9 p.m. on a Tuesday.   I'm running an errand but mistakenly knock on the wrong, very rural door.   No one answers, but police are apparently summoned and my car presumably described.   

Meanwhile I make it to the correct location, finish my errand there and head back north.  Just as I'm passing the carcass of the abandoned Cheshire County gulag, blue lights appear behind me.  I reach for my camera. 

As you can hear, I'm muting the audio whenever I speak the addresses.  I don't know whether the occupants want them publicized and probably shouldn't even have spoken them to the trooper.

Hi I am a musician and as a result of years of sound abuse I suffer from Tinnitus in my left ear. It ranges from a hiss to high-pitched noises. I have made up a video that helps my tinnitus and hope it might help you too. 

What's the difference between this video and others on the net?

It is a very good way if you want to block out the world around you and meditate, relax or study.

How to cure tinnitus? I don't know and this is not a cure but I hope it will be of some relief to you.
