So I was asked by a few friends if there would be some background music for Christmas from relaxdaily this year. And at first I was like ""Dude, it will take me months to record something like a Christmas album. Maybe that's something for 2015 or so."" But then I thought, why not simply choosing a few melodies from today's popular Christmas songs that I like, and try to record them in the style I record my original instrumental music. Well, I decided to use the melodies of Silent Night, Auld Lang Syne, Angels from the Realm of Glory, and Adeste Fideles. Those are very old songs, all in the public domain as far as I know of. Not sure if I played them perfectly, but I gave my best to deliver them in a way that fits Christmas time the way I think of it: a time to celebrate life, love, and your loved ones in a relaxed manner ;)

For this monument with its advanced technology, constantly illuminated with LED lights, Koert Vermeulen & ACTLD created in total 1260 shows to produce the genuine dynamic effects through a play of light, video, water, fireworks, as well as bubbles and sounds. The Tree of Life change as the hours go by, becoming the center for many of the events in the Pavilion's extensive schedule.

How to create a bell sound using FM modulation. The parameters values are approx. Values are expressed in %. The synthesizer is synth1 a free vst synthesizer but you can get similar sounds using similar parameters with other synts ( hardware or software )

And about this project:
I used only 3Ds Max - all U need is to link audio float controller to any parameter. In this case I linked it to glow and self illumination values of different materials. You need also to have your audio tracks separated for example: drums, bass, vocals (I'm using FL Studio). It's really not that hard, there is plenty of tutorials of how to use audio in Max. And the rest is After Effects - all of the panels, screens, audio meters. That dancing girl comes from Crowd Control (allbetsareoff.com). Add some effects here and there and there U go. And about the song - since it is not mine I had to make some tracks on my own to synchronize with it for example: main melody. The crowd scene is simply a plane with 1000 particles (shape instance -- plane with image sequence of dancing people -- 6 time random). U have to be careful about framerate because it's really easy to have misplace audio & video.
